Migo IQ announces addition of three members to Board of Directors

By Annie Mueller

Migo IQ is pleased and honored to announce three new members to the Board of Directors. Shirley Overly, Eddie Andrus, and Kyle Ellicott will be joining Jonathan Kotthoff, CEO and founder of migo IQ.

Shirley Overly has extensive experience in investment, financial brokerage, and real estate. As the President, shareholder and principal of Haley Securities, Inc., she is responsible for investor relations and syndicating equity needed to acquire new properties.  Overly also assists in underwriting potential acquisitions and dispositions for Haley Real Estate Group.  Since 2001, Overly has been a member of the general partnership.  Prior to joining the Haley team, she was an independent consultant specializing in budgeting and financial analysis for health care companies.

Eddie Andrus brings in-depth experience in the retail industry to the Board of Directors. He is SVP of Finance and Operations for Shopper Events for Advantage Sales and Marketing. Previously, Andrus served as a Vice President for Macy’s and later for Walmart before becoming Vice President of Finance and Strategy for Sam’s Club. His insight into the high-SKU, competitive retail environment will be invaluable for the development of the migo IQ platform.

Kyle Ellicott is the Founder and Chief Labs Officer of ReadWrite / ReadWrite Labs (formerly known as Wearable IoT World, Inc.), a San Francisco-based Media and Ventures company dedicated to creating the social fabric for businesses around Wearables and the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem. Ellicott’s leadership in the Wearables and iOT space led to his creation of ReadWrite Labs (formerly known as Wearable World Labs), a division of Wearable World, Inc., which is the world’s first accelerator/incubator blend solely focused on Wearables and IoT. Ellicott is a noted speaker, consultant, and published author with over 10 years of technical and product experience with such companies as Live Nation, Ticketmaster, Eventup, and TechZulu.

All three new Board members bring invaluable expertise and vast experience to migo IQ’s continued platform development. They join the migo IQ team on the launch anniversary of migo IQ’s pilot client, Rural King. The migo IQ team is excited to have their expertise as they continue to develop the Rural King app, now available in Version 2 both on iTunes and Google Play.

The migo IQ team extends their gratefulness to former members of the Board of Directors: Jim Scott, Gery Kotthoff, and Carol Leese. Their help and service have been invaluable. Leese will continue working with migo IQ as chair of the Advisory Board.
